How to load presets on the GFI System Specular Tempus
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets on the GFI System Specular Tempus with the steps below.

GET SPECLAB AND THE LATEST FIRMWARE
SpecLab is GFI System's free editor for the Specular Tempus. Download it from the Editor tab of the downloads page below. The firmware and update steps are on the same page. Read the Attention note first: very old pedals must contact GFI before updating. Update SpecLab and the firmware together.

CONNECT AND BACK UP
Connect the pedal to your computer's USB port and open SpecLab. First open SpecLab's Menu and choose Backup. It saves every preset on your pedal to your computer and shows Backup complete.

LOAD THE PRESETS
In the Local Preset box, click + and choose Add preset from file (s). Select the .lop files. Pick one, choose a page, bank and A or B slot you are happy to replace, click WRITE and confirm. Repeat for each preset. Got one .bkp file instead? Back up first, then choose Restore in the Menu. It replaces all 32 presets on your pedal.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS
You are good to go! Scroll through your new sounds and see what inspires you. Don't forget to tag the artist on social media if you share something. They would love to hear how you are using their presets.
Troubleshooting
Pedal not showing up? Replug the power and the USB cable, then click Connect. On Windows, install the USB driver from the Driver tab first. Macs do not need it.
