GET HX EDIT

HX Edit is Line 6's free editor for Helix Floor, LT and Rack. Download it from the Line 6 Software page below (free account needed). Connect Helix by USB and open HX Edit. If it offers updates, click Update Now. It updates HX Edit, backs up Helix, then updates the firmware.

BACK UP FIRST

Just updated? Do the factory reset HX Edit asks for, then choose File > Restore From Backup..., pick your backup and click Restore Backup. No update? Choose File > Create Backup... and click Create Backup.

LOAD YOUR PRESETS

Pick a setlist in the Setlist menu and click an empty New Preset slot. Drag the .hlx file from your download's Presets folder onto it, or choose File > Import Preset..., click Yes and pick the file.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS

Double-click the preset to load it. On Helix Floor or LT, press both BANK switches together for Snapshot mode, then press a switch to pick a snapshot. Share a clip? Tag the artist!
