How to load presets on the Line 6 HX Stomp
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets on the Line 6 HX Stomp with the steps below.

Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.
GET HX EDIT
HX Edit is Line 6's free editor for HX Stomp. Download it from the Line 6 Software page below (free account needed). Connect HX Stomp by USB and open HX Edit. If it offers updates, click Update Now. It updates HX Edit, backs up your HX Stomp, then updates the firmware.
Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.
BACK UP FIRST
Just updated? Do the factory reset HX Edit asks for (hold footswitches 2 and 3 while turning HX Stomp on). Then choose File > Restore From Backup..., pick your backup and click Restore Backup. No update? Choose File > Create Backup... and click Create Backup.

LOAD YOUR PRESETS
Click an empty New Preset slot in the left list. Drag a .hlx file from your download's Presets folder onto it, or choose File > Import Preset..., click Yes and pick the file. It saves to HX Stomp right away.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS
Double-click a preset to load it and play. Share a clip? Tag the artist!
Troubleshooting
No device detected? Use a USB 2.0 or faster port, not a hub. Windows needs the drivers included with HX Edit.
Import error? Presets made on newer firmware will not load on older firmware, so update HX Edit and your firmware.
Also own HX Stomp XL or Helix? HX Edit converts these presets when you import them.
