How to load presets on the Moog Sub Phatty
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets on the Moog Sub Phatty with the steps below.

DOWNLOAD THE EDITOR & FIRMWARE
Use Moog's free Sub Phatty Editor. Get it from the Sub Phatty section of Moog's Downloads page. The Editor needs recent firmware, which is on the same page. Update steps are in Moog Troubleshooting, linked in the tips.

CONNECT & BACK UP
Connect your Sub Phatty by USB and open the Editor. Click PREFS and set MIDI Input and Output to Moog Sub Phatty. Click LIBRARIAN, then GET to pull in your 16 presets, then EXPORT to save a backup.

LOAD YOUR PRESETS
Your presets come as one bank file that fills all 16 slots. In the Librarian, click IMPORT and choose the .syx file from your download. With AUTO SEND on, it goes straight to your synth. If off, presets show in italics until you click SEND. This replaces every preset, so keep your backup.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS
You are good to go! Play through the sounds and see what inspires you. Don't forget to tag the artist on social media if you share something. They would love to hear how you are using their presets.

Made for the Sub Phatty, not the Sub 37 or Subsequent 37.
Editor won't connect? Email us before using a SysEx app. It can send presets, but with no Editor there is no backup first. Moog's apps:
