How to load presets in Waves Plugins
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets in Waves Plugins with the steps below.

INSTALL WITH WAVES CENTRAL
Waves plug-ins are installed and activated in Waves Central. Open it, log in, click Install Products, then the My Products tab. Select SSL E-Channel, PuigChild 670, CLA-76 and CLA-2A, then click Install & Activate.

BACK UP YOUR WAVES PRESETS
Your own Waves presets live in the Plug-In Settings folder: /Users/Shared/Waves/Plug-In Settings on a Mac, or C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Plug-In Settings on Windows. Copy that folder somewhere safe.

LOAD THE .XPS PRESETS
Unzip your download first. Open 1 - Presets > 2 - Plugin Presets > Waves Presets. Each folder is named for its plug-in, and 1176 is for CLA-76. Put that plug-in on a track and drag the .xps file onto it. Then save it as a user preset. Skip any __MACOSX folder and files starting with ._ (Mac leftovers, not presets).

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS
You are good to go! Play through the sounds and see what inspires you. Don't forget to tag the artist on social media if you share something. They would love to hear how you are using their presets.
Troubleshooting
Prefer menus? Click the preset name on the Waves toolbar, open the menu icon and choose Load.
Can't find a preset? Use the Waves toolbar's preset menu, not your DAW's.
Using our Ableton racks? They already use SSL E-Channel and PuigChild 670, so see our Ableton Live guide. Live runs Waves as VST3 only.
