How to load presets in Native Instruments Kontakt
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets in Native Instruments Kontakt with the steps below.

GET THE FULL KONTAKT
These presets are open Kontakt instruments (.nki files with their own samples), so they need the full version of Kontakt. In the free Kontakt Player they only play for 15 minutes in demo mode. Install and update Kontakt with Native Access, Native Instruments' app for downloading, activating, and updating.

SAVE A SAFE COPY
Unzip your download and keep the original zip as a backup. Move the pack folder from 1 - Presets to a spot you will keep, like your Documents folder. Each .nki needs its Samples folder right next to it.

ADD IT TO KONTAKT
Open Kontakt and show the Library Browser (in the current Kontakt, click Library at the top). Click the cogwheel at the bottom left to open Import Content. Choose the Custom Libraries tab, click Add, select the pack folder, and click Close. Click the pack in the Browser, then double-click an instrument to load it.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS
You are good to go! Play through the sounds and see what inspires you. Don't forget to tag the artist on social media if you share something. They would love to hear how you are using their presets.
