How to load presets on the Nord Stage 3
Back up first, then load your SoundShop presets on the Nord Stage 3 with the steps below.

UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE
Before we begin, make sure your Nord Stage 3 is on the latest firmware OS. To see your version, turn on your Nord and check the launch screen.

GET SOUND MANAGER AND BACK UP
Download the free Nord Sound Manager, connect your Nord Stage 3 with a USB cable and launch it. In the upper-right corner, click Backup to save a copy of your current library.

METHOD 1: THE EASY WAY
Caution: installing the archive file writes over ALL the existing files on your Nord. OK with that? Click Restore in the upper-right corner, open 3 - Backup File in your download folder and drag the .ns3b file into the Restore window. It is very large and takes about 2 hours.

METHOD 2: THE CUSTOM WAY
Want to blend our presets with your current sounds? Click Program in the upper-right corner, then Sound Download. Click Folder and open 1 - Presets > 1 - Program Files > Bank P. Move any programs already in your Bank P to an open space first. Select Replace the entire contents of bank, select Bank P, click Download. Repeat with Bank O.

ADD THE SYNTH PRESETS
Click the Synth tab, then Sound Download. Click Folder and open 2 - Synth Presets > Bank 8. Select the Bank 8 slot and click Download.

MISSING SAMPLE WARNING?
Our programs only use the official Nord samples from the latest factory restore. Getting warnings anyway? Try downloading the latest factory restore file (step 1 link; it also replaces everything) or use Method 1. Still missing? Click the Piano or Samp Lib tab, click Organize (upper-left) and drag the missing file from 4 - Samples into the correct category.
Troubleshooting
Only want some presets? Drag individual files into Nord Sound Manager. Click Organize to see every open slot.
