How to load presets in Spectrasonics Keyscape

Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.

UPDATE KEYSCAPE

Open Keyscape and click the Spectrasonics logo in the upper right corner to see the splash screen. If it says Updates are available!, click GET UPDATES, log in, close your DAW, and run the installer inside the Spectrasonics Updater folder.

FIND STEAM AND BACK UP

On a Mac, open Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder, type ~/Library and open Application Support > Spectrasonics > STEAM. On Windows it lives in C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics, a hidden folder, so turn on Show Hidden Files and Folders first. Copy STEAM > Keyscape > Settings Library > Patches > User to another drive.

ADD THE PATCHES

Copy the artist's whole patch folder (the folder of .prt_key files inside Presets) into STEAM/Keyscape/Settings Library/Patches/User. Open Keyscape and click the circular Refresh arrow at the bottom of the Browser. Then click User at the top of the Browser to see the new patches.

TEST OUT YOUR NEW PRESETS

You are good to go! Play through the sounds and see what inspires you. Don't forget to tag the artist on social media if you share something. They would love to hear how you are using their presets.
