From humble beginnings in Southeast Texas, Garrett moved to Dallas in his early twenties for bible college and quickly met most of the team members that became UPPERROOM in its earliest stages. For over 10 years of being planted in that prayer community he grew in his musicianship, started traveling/recording, and connected/recorded with various artists. Now he resides back in his stomping grounds of Southeast TX while traveling and doing remote recordings.
