Are these the players’ own presets?
Yes. Every pack is made by the artist from their own rig, the sounds they use live and in the studio. Your bass, your strings and your hands aren’t theirs, so treat each preset as a starting point and expect to adjust a few things.
Can I run a synth and my bass through one box?
Yes, with the right preset. Samuel Rady’s HX Stomp pack includes a dual-input patch that runs bass and a Moog through one Stomp, and his Quad Cortex pack has dual-path versions for a synth on Input 2 and Output 2.
Do I need a Moog to use the synth bass presets?
For the Moog packs, yes. They’re patches for that exact synth. The TAL-U-NO-LX pack runs in the plugin, so it works in whatever host you already use, from Logic Pro to Ableton Live and MainStage.
How do Quad Cortex bass presets arrive?
They’re shared to your Cortex Cloud account instead of downloaded. Follow thesoundshopco on Cortex Cloud, then type your exact Cortex Cloud username at checkout. They arrive in under an hour, usually faster, and usually in two to three minutes if you followed us before you bought. See the Quad Cortex guide.
How do I load HX Stomp presets?
You import them with Line 6’s HX Edit app, and if you run an HX Stomp XL or a Helix, HX Edit converts them when you import. Update HX Edit and your firmware first, because presets made on newer firmware won’t load on older firmware. Full steps are in our HX Stomp guide.
