The players include Gideon Boley (guitarist for NEEDTOBREATHE), Brett Moore (guitarist for The Wild Feathers), Justin Loose (guitarist for HARDY), Tommy Gerlach (guitarist for Josh Ross), and Jason Richard (guitarist for Mat Kearney). Eventide H90 and H9 presets, answered

Are these the presets the players actually use?

Yes. Every pack is a player’s own presets from their own pedal, the sounds they use on stage and in the studio. Your guitar, amp and room aren’t theirs, so treat each preset as a starting point and dial it in for your rig.

How do I load presets on the H90?

Back up first. Connect the H90 with its USB-C cable, open Eventide Control and choose Backup Device, then use Import List to load the .lst90 file from your download. H90 Control has the same Import List and Backup Device options. Full steps are in our H90 guide.

How do I load presets on the H9?

Back up first. On an original H9 (Max, Standard or Core), use Eventide’s free H9 Control app: save a copy of your presets to your computer, drag the .h9z file onto the H9 Control window, then click Save to Pedal. That replaces the presets on your pedal. On an H9 Harmonizer Gen 2, use Eventide Control, whose Import List option opens .h9z files. Full steps are in our H9 guide.

Do H9 Max presets work on a regular H9?

Yes, if your H9 has the algorithms the presets use. An H9 Core or Standard skips presets that use algorithms you haven’t bought, and newer algorithms like TriceraChorus need the latest H9 software. Jason Richard’s pack lists the algorithms it needs. See the H9 guide.

Why won’t my H90 load the list?

Check the routing. Lists made in Insert routing can’t be used in Dual routing, and the other way around. If your pack has Insert and Dual folders, import the one that matches Routing on the Global page of your H90’s System Menu. See the H90 guide.

Is the H9 a reverb pedal?

Not really. It’s a multi-effects pedal that runs one algorithm at a time, drawn from Eventide’s TimeFactor, ModFactor, PitchFactor and Space pedals, plus algorithms only the H9 has. The H90 runs two algorithms at once. That’s why these packs mix delays, reverbs and modulation instead of sticking to one effect.

Are there H90 presets for worship?

Yes. Gideon Boley plays for NEEDTOBREATHE and has also played for Brandon Lake and Anne Wilson, and his H90 pack comes formatted for both routing modes. The other players here play for HARDY, Josh Ross, The Wild Feathers and Mat Kearney.
